Woman Arrested Over Dublin Airport Cocaine Seizure
Cocaine worth an estimated €250,000 has been seized at Dublin Airport.
A 39-year-old woman, who arrived in Dublin from Dubai, was stopped and questioned by Revenue officers. She was found to be carrying the cocaine in three confectionery tins.
The woman was arrested and detained by Gardaí.
Investigations are ongoing with a view to prosecution.

Cocaine, with an estimated street value of €70,000, has been seized by customs officers at Dublin Airport. It is understood that 1kg of the drug was found in a child's toy house, which arrived in a freight consignment from Canada on Thursday.

Revenue Officers have seized cocaine, cash and cigarettes in a number of separate operations at Dublin Airport. On Sunday, 27 September, Revenue officers, with the assistance of detection dog Scooby, seized 5.7kgs of cocaine worth €400,000 from a 48-year-old Italian male who had arrived in on a flight from Dubai.

A 25-year-old Brazilian man was stopped on searched on Tuesday 12 January as he attempted to board a flight to Barcelona. The drugs were discovered in his checked in baggage concealed in three cosmetic bottles.
