Three Held In Dublin Cocaine Seizure

Three men have been arrested following the seizure of cocaine in Dublin.

It is understood that 3.5kg of the drug, worth an estimated 250,000 euros, was discovered in Rathmines after being imported in cargo from Peru through Dublin Airport on Thursday. According to reports, the drugs had been sent by courier from Peru.

The men, all understood to be in their twenties, are being held at Terenure Garda Station.

Gardaí Investigating Hotel Shooting In Dublin
Gardaí are continuing to investigate a shooting at a hotel in Dublin. The incident happened at the Regency Hotel in Drumcondra on Friday afternoon where a weigh-in for a World Boxing Organization (WBO) title fight between Jamie Kavanagh and Antonio Joao Bento was taking place.

Two Face Court Over Foiled Dublin Robbery
Two men in their 20's are due to appear in court in relation to an attempted burglary at a shop on the South Circular Road this morning. The two men were arrested after they were discovered by Gardai at the rear of the shop as they attempted to gain entry at about 2.00am.

Cash Van Robbed Near Dublin Airport
Further details have emerged following a cash-in-transit van robbery near Dublin airport. After early reports of the raid on Tuesday morning, Gardaí have revealed the raid took place at a branch of the Ulster Bank situated near the Coachman's Inn, a landmark pub a short distance from the airport, and the Fingal Golf Centre in Cloghran, Swords.
