Questioning Continues In Slurry Tank Murder Probe

Gardaí continue to question a 44-year-old woman in connection with the murder of New Age traveller Gary Bull in Cork.

The woman, who was arrested on the outskirts of Cork city on Tuesday afternoon, has had her period of detention extended.

The body of Mr Bull, originally from the Hertfordshire area of England, was found in a slurry tank on a farm in the Shanlaragh area of Dunmanway last Thursday.

A post-mortem revealed that he died from head injuries.

Seven people have been questioned in the murder investigation so far.

An Izusu jeep was recovered in Ballyneety in Co Limerick on Tuesday and it is now being forensically examined.

Woman Arrested Over Cork Murder
A woman in her forties has been arrested in connection with the murder of New Age traveller Gary Bull in Cork. She had been taken to Bandon Garda Station. The body of Mr Bull, who is originally from the Hertfordshire area of England, was found in a slurry tank on a farm in the Shanlaragh area of Dunmanway last Thursday.

Woman Released Without Charge Over Donegal Murder
A woman arrested in connection with the murder of Seamus Donnelly has been released without charge. Mr Doherty was killed at his home in Drumacanoo on 17 June 2012. The woman, 57, was released this morning. A man, 51, who was arrested on Wednesday is still being questioned by garda.

Woman Freed In Slurry Tank Killing Probe
A 44-year-old woman being held in connection with the murder of New Age traveller Gary Bull in Cork has been released without charge. The woman, who was arrested on the outskirts of Cork city on Tuesday afternoon, was released last night. A file is to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
