Cork Farm Body Shock

Gardaí have launched an investigation after what appeared to be a body was found on a farm in Cork.

It is understood that the discovery was made in a slurry pit on the farm at Shanlaragh in Dunmanaway in Co. Cork around 8:40am on Thursday morning.

The age, gender and identity of the body are not yet known.

The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination and it is understood that gardaí are treating the death as suspicious.

The coastguard have recovered the body of man who died in a swimming incident off the coast of West Cork. It is understood that a member of the public spotted the body floating in the water in Roaringwater Bay near Aughadown Pier between Skibbereen and Ballydehob at about around 13:00 on Wednesday.

Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a man's body in Cork this morning. At about 7am the body of a 29-year-old man was found at a farm house in Shanavagoon, Ladysbridge, Co Cork. According to reports the man had suffered a "number of injuries".

Two Arrested In Cork Slurry Tank Death Probe
Detectives investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a slurry tank on a farm in Cork have arrested two men. The body of the man, named in reports as Gary Bull, was found on the farm in the Shanlaragh area of Dunmanway in Cork last Thursday. A post-mortem revealed that he died from head injuries.

Garda divers are set to remove what is believed to be the body of a man found in a slurry tank on a farm in Cork on Thursday. The discovery was made on the farm at Shanlaragh in Dunmanaway on Thursday morning. The lane leading to the farm has been cordoned off. A technical examination of the scene was carried out by garda experts on Thursday night.
