Eight Hurt In Roscommon Crash

Eight people have been injured in a collision involving a minibus and a car in Co Roscommon this morning.

The accident happened shortly before 9am on the Castlerea Road.

The driver of the car and seven teenagers from the minibus have been taken to hospital.

It is understood the minibus was taking the teenagers to the National Ploughing Championships in Tullamore, when it collided with the car.

The driver of the car has been described as being seriously injured, while the teenagers' injuries are being treated as minor.

Bus Crashes In Westmeath
A bus carrying 27 passengers was involved in a collision with a truck in Co Westmeath on Tuesday evening. The incident happened on the N6 just outside Moate. It was reported that one driver suffered minor injuries in the crash. Earlier on Tuesday eight people were injured in a collision involving a minibus and a car in Co Roscommon.

Woman Killed In Fatal Car Crash In Co Limerick
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a fatal car crash in Co Limerick. The incident happened around 11:30pm at the Applegreen service station at Coolanoran, Rathkeale on 05 March. The driver of the car, a woman in her late 30s, was fatally injured in the single-car crash.

Man Killed In Co Mayo Crash
A man has been killed in a crash in Co Mayo. The incident happened shortly before 6pm on Tuesday at Newpark in Swinford when a car left the road. The 64-year-old male driver suffered fatal injuries in the crash while a female passenger received minor injuries.

Woman Seriously Injured In Three-Car Accident
A woman has been seriously injured following a three-car collision on the N4 Dublin/Sligo Road. The crash occurred on the Edgeworth Road at approximately 5.30pm on Wednesday (7 January). The woman is currently being treated at Midland Regional Hospital. The main Dublin/Sligo Road has been closed and diversions are in place.
