Four Injured In Limerick Car Chase
Two gardaí have been injured in a road traffic collision in Limerick.
The pair, a man and a woman, had stopped a car at a routine checkpoint in the O'Malley Park area, around 1:15am on Tuesday.
The gardaí then chased the vehicle, which is then understood to have crossed a green area, colliding with the patrol car.
Both gardaí were treated in hospital. It was also reported that two male passengers in the other vehicle were also treated in hospital. None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.
The driver of the vehicle, however, is understood to have escaped from the scene and has not yet been found.

Eight Arrested In Dundalk Murder Inquiry
Gardaí investigating the murder of Aidan Myers in Dundalk last year have arrested eight people. Six men and two women were arrested this morning. It is understood that four men, aged 19 and 26, are being questioned in relation to Mr Myers' murder, while two men and two women are being questioned on suspicion of withholding information.

15-Year-Old Arrested In Lorcan O'Reilly Murder Investigation
Gardaí investigating the murder of Lorcan O'Reilly in Dublin last year have arrested a 15-year-old male. Mr O'Reilly died after he was stabbed in the early hours of 01 November. It is believed that Mr O'Reilly was attempting to break up a fight at the Oliver Bond flat complex in Dublin's south inner city when he was fatally injured.

A 19-year-old man has died in a multi-vehicle crash in Co Kilkenny on Thursday. Oisin Crotty, from The Rower near Inistoge in south Kilkenny was on his way to work when the crash happened around 8.15am. It is thought severe fog was to blame for the accident, which happened between Danesfort and Foulkstown.

Boy, 6, 'Critical' Following Car Crash
A six-year-old boy remains in a 'critical condition' following a car crash in Co Clare, Gardaí have revealed. The young boy was travelling in the car with his mother when the accident took place just after 9am on the Ballyvaughan Road close to the village of Bellharbour.
