Man Injured In Limerick Shooting

A 21-year-old man has been seriously injured in a shooting in Limerick.

The man was shot in the back and abdomen in Saint Munchen's Street in the St Mary's Park area of the city around 1am on Monday.

He was taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital for emergency surgery and remains in a critical condition in intensive care.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the shooting.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

Man Injured In Limerick Shooting
Gardaí in Limerick have reported that a 26-year-old man has been injured in a shooting in the city. According to reports the shooting took place at around 21:30 on Thursday night at Byrne Avenue in Prospect. The man is being treated at University Hospital Limerick for gunshot wounds to the stomach.

Teenager And Young Child Injured In Alleged Shooting In West Dublin
An investigation has been launched into an alleged shooting incident in West Dublin. According to reports, a teenager and a young child have been injured in an incident that gardaí have said is "ongoing" in the Parlickstown area of Blanchardstown. The area has been sealed off and gardaí are at the scene. Further updates to follow.

Man Injured In Dublin Pub Shooting
A man is being treated in hospital following a shooting incident at a Dublin pub. A man was shot and injured at a pub in Sallynoggin at about 1am on Monday morning. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening. He is being treated at St Vincent's University Hospital. Garda are investigating the shooting but say no arrests have yet been made.

Man Injured in Co Meath Shooting
A man has been injured in a shooting in County Meath. The attack happened at a house in Dowth, at approximately 9.45pm on Sunday. The victim was shot a number of times in the upper body and his leg. He is currently being treated at Our Lady of Lordes Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
