Man In Court Over Louth Cocaine Seizure
A man has appeared in court charged in connection with a seizure of cocaine in Co. Louth.
Patrick Donoghue, 54, with an address in Charleville in Dunleer, appeared before Dublin District Court charged with possession of cocaine and possession of the drug for sale or supply.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Clover Hill District Court next week.
Mr Donoghue was arrested during a raid on a house in Charleville, Dunleer on Tuesday morning.
Almost 12kg of cocaine, with an estimated street value of nearly one million euros, was found during the raid, which was carried out by local detectives and members of the Garda National Drugs Unit.

Man Due In Court Over Clondalkin Cocaine Seizure
Cocaine worth an estimated €210,000 has been seized by gardaí in Clondalkin. Officers from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (DOCB) uncovered the drugs when they stopped and searched a van on Saturday afternoon, 11 June. During the course of the search, Gardaí discovered approximately 3kg of cocaine with an approximate street value of €210,000.
