Dismembered Body Found In Belfast
Detectives are questioning a man about the discovery of a dismembered body in the Mount area of east Belfast.
The body, which is believed to be male, was found in a courtyard at the rear of a block of flats at Pottinger House at around 6pm on Monday evening. The death is being treated as suspicious.
Forensic teams worked with police for several hours at the scene. Investigating officers have not yet released the name of the victim.
A post mortem examination is due to be carried out later today.

Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a woman's body in a house in Dublin. The body of the 43-year-old was found in a house in Rathgar Road in Rathmines just before midnight on Wednesday. A forensic examination is being carried out and the body remains at the scene.

Body Found By Officers Investigating Abduction Of Jastine Valdez
Gardaí investigating the abduction of 24-year-old Jastine Valdez have discovered a body in the Pucks Castle area of Dublin The body has not yet been formally identified but garda have appealed for privacy for the Valdez family. Garda are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.

The dismembered body of a man found inside a suitcase in the Grand Canal in Kildare has been named as Kenneth O'Brien (33). Mr O'Brien's remains were discovered wrapped in plastic inside the suitcase on Saturday 16 January. Garda renewed their appeal for the public's help.

Drugs Find Made During Murder Investigation
Ecstasy worth an estimated €50,000 has been uncovered in Ardclough, Kildare. It is understood that officers investigating the murder of Kenneth O'Brien – the man who's body was found dismembered and inside a suitcase in the Grand Canal – made the discovery. However, Garda added that the drugs are not connected to Mr O'Brien's death.
