Garda Appeal After Fatal N25 Bus-Car Collision In Kinsalebeg
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision in Kinsalebeg, Ardmore, Co. Waterford, on Sunday, 20th September 2026.
Just before 8pm, emergency services attended a crash involving a bus and a car on the N25 between Youghal and Dungarvan at Kinsalebeg. The driver of the car, a man in his mid-60s, was pronounced dead at the scene. All passengers on the bus were medically assessed on site and no serious injuries were reported.
The road was closed to facilitate a forensic examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and has since fully reopened. The Coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged.
Gardaí are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward. Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) who travelled on the N25 between Grange and Pilltown Cross between 7:30pm and 8:00pm are asked to make it available to investigating officers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dungarvan Garda Station on 058 48600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
