Do Not Swim Notice Issued For Claremont Beach

A 'Do Not Swim' notice has been issued after a sample taken on 15 June 2026 showed an elevated bacterial count. An investigation and resampling are under way, and the EPA and HSE have been notified.

Beach users are asked to respect the 'Do Not Swim' notice, which is in place to ensure the health of bathers is not compromised.
