Dublin Tech Week 2026: Eight Days of Innovation and 30+ Events
Dublin is set to become the focus of global innovation once again as Dublin Tech Week returns for its second year. Running from 22–29 May 2026, the eight-day initiative will see more than 30 events hosted across the county, showcasing the city's position as a premier European tech hub.
The programme is designed to be as accessible as it is ambitious, bridging the gap between high-level industry discourse and community engagement. From AI and cybersecurity to fintech and smart city solutions, the week offers a diverse schedule for professionals, creatives, and families alike.
Flagship Events & Highlights
The 2026 line-up features a mix of major summits and interactive workshops:
• Dublin Tech Summit: The premier industry conference at the RDS.
• TechFoundHer Summit: Empowering women in tech at the Mansion House.
• Gamerfest: A celebration of gaming culture and technology at the RDS.
• Enfuse Finals: Showcasing student-led innovation at Wood Quay.
• Smart Dublin Events: Including a practical "Drones in Public Service" workshop.
• Youth Engagement: Kids' coding workshops and "Young Inventors" sessions in Fingal and across South Dublin.
A Collaborative Ecosystem Supported by Dublin City Council and the Dublin Regional Place Brand, the week is made possible by a coalition of partners including Enterprise Ireland, Dublin Chamber, Dogpatch Labs, and academic institutions like Trinity College (ADAPT Centre), DCU, and TU Dublin.
Ross Curley, Head of Economic Development at Dublin City Council, highlighted the initiative's impact: "Dublin is one of Europe's most important tech hubs and a leading smart city. Dublin Tech Week showcases our world-class talent, cutting-edge innovation, and community spirit. Initiatives like this inspire future innovation and strengthen our city's reputation as a forward-thinking destination for local and global business."
Community and Discovery
Beyond business-focused conferences, the week encourages public immersion in topics such as neuro-affirming tech, digital twins, and misinformation. Many events are free to attend, ranging from hands-on workshops for beginners to community meetups.
The full schedule, including booking information for ticketed and free events, is now live. Participants and interested organisations can explore the complete 2026 programme at dublintechweek.com.
