Drogheda Garda Officer Allegedly Followed Home By Suspected Gang Member

A personal safety warning has been issued to all gardaí officers working in Drogheda after an officer was allegedly followed home by suspected gang members.

According to reports, the alleged incident occurred days before the murder of Keane Mulready-Woods.

The Garda Representative Association (GRA) described the incident as "very intimidating".

Appeal For Information On Shooting Incident In Longford
Gardaí have issued an appeal for information following an alleged shooting incident in Longford. A number of shots were reportedly fired at a house at Anally Gardens, Longford shortly before 9pm on Thursday 13 February. According to reports, three people were in the house at the time but there were no reports of any injuries.

Youth Hurling Match Abandoned After Violence
An under-16s hurling match was allegedly attacked by a man with a slash hook, the Irish Independent has reported. A garda investigation has been launched into the alleged incident, at St Patrick's in the Rhebogue area, in which a settled Traveller threatened players and coaches.

Five Arrested Following Foiled Robbery
Gardai have arrested five men in relation to a foiled robbery at the house of a businessman in Cork. Three men were arrested this morning (12 August) and two other males, believed to be in their 30s and 40s were arrested at around 11.30pm last night. It is understood Gardai are continuing to search for weapons used by the men.
