Girl, 7, Dies In Tragic Accident In Co Louth

A seven-year-old girl has lost her life after a tragic accident involving a car in Drogheda, County Louth, on Sunday afternoon.

Named locally as Chantelle Keenan, she died following the incident in the driveway of a house at around 2.30pm.

Emergency services attended the scene and the girl was taken to the nearby Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, where she later passed away.

It happened in Spamount, Castlederg, and saw Clarice Harron, a 10-year-old girl, choking on a balloon at a friend's birthday party last Saturday. Child Fatally Injured In Farming Accident In Co Mayo
A four-year-old boy has died in a farming accident in Ballinaboy, Co Mayo. According to reports the child was fatally injured when he was hit by a trailer on the farm at about 21:00 on Wednesday. Gardaí said the incident is being treated as a tragic accident.
