All-Ireland Senior Hurling Dates Announced

The dates for this year's All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship have been announced, with the final set to take place in Croke Park on Sunday 18 August.

Westmeath and Cork will face off in a preliminary quarter final at Cusack Park on 07 July at 3pm. The other quarterfinal match-up between Laois and Dublin will take place on the same day in Portlaoise at 4.15pm.

The two semi-finals will be played at Croke Park on 14 July, with 2pm and 4pm throw-ins scheduled.

Kilkenny will play the winners of Cork-Westmeath in the first match, followed by a game between Tipperary and either Dublin or Laois.

This year's All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship winners will lift the Liam McCarthy Cup in Croke Park on 18 August.

University College Dublin And Croke Park To Host World GAA Games
More than 1,700 Gaelic footballers, hurlers and camogie players are to be hosted by University College Dublin and Croke park for the GAA World Games. A total of 87 teams from 20 countries will play over 500 games, with most matches played at Belfield. The finals will be held in Croke Park.

TEEU Become Third Union To Reject Croke Park Extension
A third union has voted to rejected the proposed Croke Park II Agreement. The Technicial Engineering and Electrical Union, representing around 1,500 craft workers in the public service, rejected the proposal with 65.6% of it’s members voting no.
