Two Arrested In Connection With Fatal Limerick Hit-And-Run
Gardaí investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident in Limerick have arrested two men.
A man, aged in his 20s, was fatally struck by a jeep on Hyde Road at about 4.40am on Monday, 01 July. The vehicle believed to be involved in the incident, a black Mitsubishi Shogun jeep, failed to remain at the scene.
The two male suspects – aged in their late teens and late twenties – were arrested and detained at a Midlands Garda Station on suspicion of murder.
Gardaí continue to appeal for anyone with information on the incident, particularly anyone in the area around the time of the collision, who may have dash cam footage, to contact them at Roxboro Road Garda Station on 061 214 340, the Garda confidential line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

Investigation Launched After Pharmacy Worker Stabbed
An investigation has been launched in Drogheda after a Pharmacy employee was stabbed. Gardaí were called to Scarlet Street shortly before 08:30 on Tuesday morning to reports that an employee had been stabbed. The victim, a man aged in his 30s, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, where his condition is described as serious.

Gardaí investigating a shooting incident outside a west Dublin school have made an arrest. A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested during the course of the search operation in Corduff. He has been detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939, where he can be held for up to 72 hours.

A man has died following a fatal stabbing in Dublin. The incident happened at St Joseph's Park in Finglas in the early hours of this morning, 06 June. The 33-year-old victim died at the scene. An 18-year-old man has been arrested and is being detained at Finglas Garda Station. A post-mortem is to be carried out later today.
