Renewed Appeal For 55-Year-Old Missing From Dublin

Gardaí have renewed their appeal for assistance in locating a 55-year-old man who is missing from his home in Sandyford, Dublin.

Gerard Taylor has not been seen since Saturday 25 May. He was spotted near Ballinteer Avenue, Dublin 16, at around 9am that day and has not been seen since.

Mr Taylor is described as 5'10" in height and of medium build, with grey hair and stubble, blue eyes and glasses.

When he was last seen he was wearing a blue sports cap, black jacket with a hood, bottle green coloured chino trousers and navy trainers.

Gardaí captured Mr Taylor on CCTV boarding the Luas at Stillorgan at 7.30am and later departing Milltown Luas Station at 8.05am, heading in the direction of Richmond Avenue South.

Renewed Appeal For Missing Dublin Man Gerard Taylor
Gardaí have renewed an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Gerard Taylor, who has been missing for almost a week. Mr Taylor, 55, was last seen when he left his home in Sandyford at around 9am on Saturday, 25 May. He is described as being approximately 6ft tall with a medium build, grey hair and blue eyes.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dublin Pub Shooting
A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Dublin pub in the early hours of Monday morning. Gardai investigating the incident at the Sallynoggin arrested a man in his 30s on Wednesday evening. He is currently being detained under the provisions of section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.

Man Stable After Being Struck By Luas
A man struck by a Luas tram in south Dublin on Tuesday night is in a stable condition in hospital. The incident happened at Cheeverstown at about 20:15 on Tuesday, Dublin Fire Service have said. It is understood that an 18-year-old man was on the tracks between the Citywest and Cheeverstown stops when he was hit.

House Of Discovered Dead Woman Searched
A search on the house has begun after the discovery of a woman in Dublin street at the weekend. Gardaí said they were continuing their investigation into the death of the woman whose body was found in a suitcase dumped on a Dublin street.
