Renewed Appeal For Missing Dublin Man Gerard Taylor

Gardaí have renewed an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Gerard Taylor, who has been missing for almost a week.

Mr Taylor, 55, was last seen when he left his home in Sandyford at around 9am on Saturday, 25 May.

He is described as being approximately 6ft tall with a medium build, grey hair and blue eyes.

When last seen he was wearing a navy blue jacket with a hood, green trousers, and a navy blue cap.

Any information on Gerard's whereabouts should be reported to Dundrum Garda Station on 01 666 5600 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.

Elderly Man Arrested After Fatal Shooting In Mayo
An elderly man has been arrested after a man in his 60s was shot dead in County Mayo. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene in Aghamore, Ballyhaunis shortly before midnight on Tuesday, 17 September. It is understood the elderly man heard noises outside his property before the shots were fired.

A man has been arrested following an attempted arson attack on a Garda patrol vehicle outside a station in Dundalk. The incident occurred at around 11.10pm on Tuesday evening, 03 September, at Dundalk Garda Station. Officers exiting observed two males acting suspiciously at the rear of a parked drugs unit vehicle.

The shooting dead of a man in a caravan park in County Louth on Tuesday has sparked calls for Garda to step up operations aimed at tackling an ongoing feud in Drogheda. Gardaí are appealing for information in relation the murder which saw a number of shots fired in a caravan park on the Clogherhead to Termonfeckin Road.
