Appeal Issued For Missing Teenager Alan Ryan
Gardaí in Drogheda have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of 16-year-old Alan Ryan.
The teenager has been missing since Saturday, 22 September 2018. He was last seen at Greenhills, Drogheda at approximately 12.45pm.
Alan is described as being of slim build with blue eyes and brown hair. When last seen it is not know what Alan was wearing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Drogheda Garda Station 041 - 9874200, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Public Appeal After Third Confirmed Case Of Measles In Ireland
The Public Health Agency (PHA) has announced that it has been made aware of a third confirmed case of measles in the Republic of Ireland. It is understood that the case was confirmed in a resident of Ireland who had arrived back in the country from Abu Dhabi on Saturday 9 March 2024.

Over 660 Motorists Found Speeding Over Easter Bank Holidays
More than 660 motorists were caught breaking the speed limit across the Causeway Coast and Glens during the Easter bank holiday weekend – an increase of 22% from 2022. Chief Inspector Sinead McIldowney said: "The Safety Camera Vans were deployed at various locations across the North Coast and the increase in these detections is a worrying trend.

Two people have been arrested and a firearm has been seized following a Gardai operation targeting dissident republican activity in the Drogheda area. On 11 July, Garda stopped and searched a car at around 3pm in the Crushrod Avenue area.

The police at Santry Garda Station are trying to trace a missing man, 50-year-old Alan Harris who was last seen at his home in Lorcan Avenue, Santry, last Thursday the 21st of January. Alan is described as 5'11', thin build, with grey hair and a beard. When last seen he was wearing an orange and grey jacket and blue jeans.
