Gardaí Seek Help Tracing Man Missing From Letterkenny

Gardaí in Letterkenny have appealed for help tracing a 26-year-old man who is missing from the area.

Cian Langelaan was last seen on Wednesday 08 May as he left his residence carrying a backpack.

He is described as approximately 5'8" tall, of thin build and with sandy coloured hair, which is believed to have been cut short in recent weeks.

Cian's family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. Anyone with information on his current location is urged to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.

Man Dies In Donegal Road Crash
A man has died in a road crash in Donegal. The collision, between a car and a lorry, occurred at Tullytrap on the main Letterkenny to Lifford Road, on Thursday, 04 August. The driver of the car was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital, however he later died from his injuries. A passenger in the vehicle is currently being treated in hospital.

Post Mortem To Be Carried Out On Letterkenny Body
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a Polish man, whose body was found in County Donegal two days ago. The man’s body was found in the ruins of an old house in the Gortlee area of Letterkenny and the body is that of a man who had been reported missing earlier in the summer.

The driver of a car involved in a hit-and-run incident which claimed the life of a young student yesterday has been questioned by gardai. The man presented himself to gardai yesterday, only hours after the tragic incident. Gardai interviewed the man yesterday afternoon.

Seat Belts 'Save' Kids In School Bus Crash
All six children onboard a Co Donegal bus that crashed this morning were uninjured - thanks in large part to all of them wearing seat belts. The bus, under contract to Bus Éireann, was involved in a collision on its way to Burt Post Primary School, in Co Donegal.
