Female Cyclist Dies In Cork Collision
A cyclist has been killed following a collision in west Cork.
The woman was involved in a fatal crash with a car in Aghills, Skibbereen at around 1pm on Sunday 07 April.
She is believed to have been in her late 40s and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 50s, was uninjured.
A large section of the N71 was closed to traffic to preserve the scene for investigators. A post-mortem will be carried out.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact them at Clonakilty station.

A number of separate road crashes this weekend have claimed four lives, including a father and son. John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. Two Dead In Separate Collisions
Two people have died on Ireland's roads after traffic collisions in Dublin and Kilkenny in the last two days. In the latest incident, a male aged 19 was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a stationary vehicle. His body was taken to Tallaght Hospital.
