Man Injured In Suspected Assault In Cork
Gardaí are investigating a suspected assault in County Cork after a man suffered head injuries.
The incident happened on Main Street in Carrigaline at around 10pm on Friday night, 15 February.
The victim, a man in his 50's, was assessed at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Cork University Hospital for further medical attention.
No arrests have been made as yet.
Investigations are ongoing and officers are appealing for witnesses.

Man Held Over Fatal Crash Released
A man held in connection with a fatal road accident in Co Cork yesterday has been released by Gardaí. The man was arrested after a fatal accident in County Cork in the early hours of yesterday morning. Two men in their 20s were killed in the head on collision of two vehicles at approximately 2.

Manhunt After Two Stabbed In Cork
Gardaí have launched a manhunt after two people were stabbed at Cork University Hospital. According to reports, it is thought the two men got into a fight with a third man on the ground of the hospital earlier today (23 October). The victims are receiving treatment at the scene, but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Man In Hospital Following Assault
A man is recovering in hospital after being assaulted. The victim, reported to be 58 years of age, was assaulted on Robert Emmet Walk, Dublin 8, some time between 10.30pm and 11pm on Sunday night. He was found on Cork Street, over an hour later. He has been taken to St James' Hospital, where he is said to be in a stable condition.
