Man In Hospital Following Assault
A man is recovering in hospital after being assaulted.
The victim, reported to be 58 years of age, was assaulted on Robert Emmet Walk, Dublin 8, some time between 10.30pm and 11pm on Sunday night.
He was found on Cork Street, over an hour later. He has been taken to St James' Hospital, where he is said to be in a stable condition.
Technical examinations are being carried out at the scenes.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

An AK47 assault rifle and cannabis with an estimated street value of 4,000 euros have been seized in a raid in Dublin. A man in his twenties was arrested during the raid, which took place shortly after 9am on Wednesday at the house in Gloucester Place in the centre of the city.

Gardaí in Cork city have appealed for witnesses of an alleged assault on Lower Oliver Plunkett Street on Thursday, 10 September. A man died in hospital on Wednesday, 16 September, after he was found with serious injuries shortly before 14:00 last week.
