Met Éireann Issues Low Temperature Weather Warning
A weather warning has been issued for low temperatures across Ireland.
The Status Yellow warning is in place from 4pm today, 06 February until 4am on Wednesday, 07 February.
Met Éireann said: "Extremely cold after dark and into daytime Wednesday. Air temperatures will fall back to -3 or -4 degrees, coldest away from the Atlantic, and even colder over lying snow."
A previous snow-ice warning remains in place until midnight tonight.

Boil Water Notice Still In Place In Limerick
The boil water notice issued to Uisce Eireann customers supplied by the Cappamore Foileen Public Water Supply remains in effect. This notice, which was first issued on 26 September 2023 as a precautionary measure to protect the health of approximately 2,300 customers, was put in place due to the detection of cryptosporidium in the water supply.

High Temperature Weather Warning Issued
A Status Yellow high temperature warning has been issued by Met Éireann with temperatures expected to reach 30c. The forecaster issued the high temperature warning at 7am this morning, 19 July and it remains in place until 8.00pm tonight. Temperatures are expected to be highest in the west and midwest.

Ireland is set to reach temperatures of 28 degrees today, according to Met Eireann. The highest values are likely to be in midland areas. A high temperature warning has been issued for Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Galway, Leitrim, Roscommon, Clare, Limerick and Tipperary.

Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange warning for snow and ice across a number of counties. The Irish National Meteorological Service said "significant falls of snow" are expected from Saturday, 09 December and into Sunday, 10 December.
