High Temperature Weather Warning Issued

A Status Yellow high temperature warning has been issued by Met Éireann with temperatures expected to reach 30c.

The forecaster issued the high temperature warning at 7am this morning, 19 July and it remains in place until 8.00pm tonight. Temperatures are expected to be highest in the west and midwest.

Ireland is currently enjoying a heat wave, however Met Éireann has said that the current hot weather wouldn't last as the current weather front moves on leading to less humidity and cooler nights.
