Witnesses Sought To National Stadium Shooting Incident
Gardaí have issued an appeal for information to a shooting incident near the National Stadium shortly before 10pm on Friday, 26 January.
A gunman opened fire on the South Circular Road in Dublin 8 at approximately 9.45pm, causing widespread panic as a boxing tournament was about to begin at the National Stadium.
A 44-year-old man, who is known to garda, was chased by the gunman and suffered a gunshot wound to the foot.
A second man, a 20-year-old British student with no links to criminality, also suffered a gunshot wound to the wrist when he was caught in the crossfire.
The shooting is believed to have been the latest incident in the long running Hutch/Kinahan feud.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing to members of the public who may have any information in relation to the incident or who may have been in the area of South Circular Road, St. Alban's Road, Dublin 8.
Gardaí are particularly anxious to speak to anyone who may have seen a black or dark coloured Lexus car which was reported to have been in the area at the time, also any drivers who have dashcams fitted to their vehicles are asked to contact Kevin Street Garda Station on 01 666 9400, the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

PSNI Investigating Fatal Collision Near Bready, Co Tyrone
An investigation has been launched following a fatal road traffic collision near Bready, Co Tyrone. At around 1.40pm on Sunday, 07 April, police responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on the Victoria Road. When police arrived it was discovered that a white Seat Leon had left the carriageway close to the junction with Grangefoyle Road.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dublin Shooting Incident
Gardaí investigating a shooting incident outside a west Dublin school have made an arrest. A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested during the course of the search operation in Corduff. He has been detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939, where he can be held for up to 72 hours.
