Man Arrested After Woman Abducted From Her Home In Co Longford
A man has been arrested after a woman was abducted from her home in Co Longford.
The incident happened near Edgeworthstown just after 4pm on Saturday.
The mother-of-four was violently abducted from her home when she was looking after her children. Three other children were also in the house at the time.
Gardaí launched a major operation and the woman, aged in her 20s, was found shortly after 7am on Sunday.
A man in his 20s has been arrested and is being detained at Granard Garda Station.
