Four Men To Appear In Court In Connection With Murder Of Peter Butterly

Four men are to appear in court charged in connection with the murder of Peter Butterly.

Mr Butterly was fatally shot outside a bar in Meath on 06 March 2013.

The suspects were detained in counties Meath, Cavan and Dublin.

Two other men are serving life sentences for the murder of Mr Butterly.

It is understood the two men, who are members of the McCarthy-Dundon gang – one of whom is regarded as a major criminal figure – will be charged before the Special Criminal Court in connection with the 2009 gun attack.

Suspected Cartoonist Plotters Appear In Court
