Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By Car In Co Wicklow
A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in Co Wicklow.
The incident occurred on the Coolgreany Road in Arklow at around 2.20am on Monday, 05 June.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to St Columcille's Hospital, Loughslinstown. A post-mortem is to be carried out.
The driver of the car was not injured.
The road has been closed and gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested In Connection With Fatal Road Collision
A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal road accident in Dublin on Friday night. A woman, 40, died when she was hit by a car on the Davitt Road, which fled from the scene. The car, believed to be a Ford Focus, has not been found. Gardai believe the car would have been damaged at the front and the windscreen.

Woman, 82, Dies In Road Accident
An 82-year-old woman has died following a road accident in Donegal. The crash occurred at around 3.50pm on Monday (18 August) at The Ross in Bundoran. Gardaí have said a car collided with a fence in the incident. The woman was transferred to Sligo Hospital but later died from her injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí.

A man has died when his car collided with a van on the Rathbeale road in Swords, Dublin, around 02.30am on Wednesday morning. The man in his 40s was a passenger in the van. He died at the scene.
