Drugs And Car Seized In Criminal Asset Bureau Operation
Searches have been carried out by officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau at 12 locations in Dublin, Kildare and Meath as part of ongoing investigations into a west Dublin criminal group.
During the operation the Bureau seized a large amounts of financial documentation and electronic media.
A luxury car and a small quantity of controlled drugs and drugs paraphernalia were also seized during the operation. The searches were conducted at private residences and business premises.
The Criminal Assets Bureau was supported by the Special Crime Task Force (SCTF) and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the Dublin Regional Armed Response Unit and Gardaí from Clondalkin and Ronanstown Garda Districts.
No arrests were made during this phase of the investigation and no other assets were seized, gardaí said.

Five Arrested Over Theft Of ESB Power Cables
Five men have been arrested in connection with the theft of ESB overhead power cables in a gardaí operation. Gardaí attached to the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, assisted by local Gardaí from Kildare and the Garda Air Support Unit, launched the arrest operation.
