Man Charged With Armed Robbery
A 32-year-old man is due to appear before Ennis District Court charged in connection with an armed robbery at a retail outlet in Bunratty, Co Clare.
At approximately 2.30pm on Wednesday, 15 February a man entered a retail outlet in Bunratty and threatened staff with a knife.
He left the scene on foot with a small amount of cash. No one was physically injured during the incident.
During a follow-up operation involving Gardaí attached to Shannon Garda Station, a 32-year-old man was arrested. A small amount of cash and a knife were recovered. A car was also seized as part of the investigation.
The arrested man was taken to Ennis Garda Station where he was detained for questioning.

A man arrested in connection with the murder of Michael Devoy has been released without charge. The body of the 41-year-old, from Ballymun in Dublin, was found at Foxhill on 18 January 2014. A man in his 20s was being questioned by officers at Tallaght Garda Station. He has since been released. A file is being prepared for the DPP.

Man Arrested And Firearm Seized
A firearm has been seized and a man arrested in Crumlin, Dublin. According to gardaí, they were investigating reports of criminal damage at Rutland Grove when they witnessed a row break out between a number of men. The firearm was seized from one of the men involved in the row and he was subsequently arrested.
