Three People Killed In Donegal Traffic Collision

Two men and a woman have died in a serious road traffic collision at Corravaddy in Donegal.

The collision between two cars occurred at around 1am this morning, 28 July, approximately four miles from Letterkenny.

One male was seriously injured in the collision and is being treated at Letterkenny University Hospital.

The scene remains closed to traffic and diversions are in place.

Garda forensic collision investigators are expected to attend the scene this morning.

Four Killed On Irish Roads This Weekend
A number of separate road crashes this weekend have claimed four lives, including a father and son. John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. Man Dies In Galway Crash
A man has been killed in a road crash in Co. Galway. The two-car collision happened on the main Gort to Ennis Road near the Galway-Clare border around 7:30am this morning. The victim is understood to be the driver of one of the vehicles, while the driver of the other vehicle was also injured and has been taken to hospital.

Two People Killed In Co Cork Road Traffic Collision
Two people have been killed in a road traffic collision in Co Cork yesterday, 05 April. The incident happened at around 5:10pm on the N20 Cork to Limerick Road one mile outside Mallow. The occupants of one car, a male and female both in their 70's, were killed in the collision.

Road Victims Named
The Garda has named the two people who were killed at the weekend in separate road accidents. The 27-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on Saturday was Barry Murphy of Anneville Crescent, Dundalk, Co. Louth. They are investigating the fatal road traffic collision at Beamore Road, Drogheda. It occurred at approx 3.

Four Men Dead In Separate Collisions
A total of four men have died in a spate of separate car collisions over the weekend. In the most recent incident, a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck towing a trailer, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s. The collision which occurred at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon, CoLimerick at approx 1.30pm on Sunday.
