Man Charged Following Robbery In Tallaght
A 34-year-old man has been charged in connection with a robbery at a service station in Cookstown, Tallaght.
The incident happened at a premises on the Belgard Road just before 8.30pm on Sunday.
A man, armed with a syringe, entered the service station and threatened staff before fleeing the scene with a small sum of cash.
The man was arrested close to the scene a short time later and was detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The suspect is to appear at Tallaght District Court today, 11 April.

Missing Tallaght Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A man who had been missing from the Tallaght area has been found 'safe and well', Garda have reported. 30-year-old John Rodgers was reported missing on 11 July. However, Garda said John has now been found and thanked the public for their assistance.

Man Shot In Leg At His Dublin Home
A man was shot in the leg at his home in Dublin last night. The man, in his 30s, was shot at a number of times, at his house in Tallaght, south Dublin, according to Gardai. He was taken to Tallaght Hospital, and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The victim was shot at three times in the leg at his front door.

Man Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Michael Devoy Released
A man arrested in connection with the murder of Michael Devoy has been released without charge. The body of the 41-year-old, from Ballymun in Dublin, was found at Foxhill on 18 January 2014. A man in his 20s was being questioned by officers at Tallaght Garda Station. He has since been released. A file is being prepared for the DPP.
