Man Dies Following Assault In Dublin

A man, believed to be in his late 50s, has died following a serious assault in Dublin.

The victim was injured in an incident that occurred on Harold's Cross Road area of Dublin at around 4am on Saturday, 05 March. He was taken to St James's Hospital but gardaí have said the man has since died from his injuries.

A man, aged in his early 40s, has been arrested in connection to the incident, and is currently being detained at Terenure Garda Station.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone who was in the area between Harold's Cross Bridge and Terenure between 3.30am and 4am on Saturday to contact at Terenure Garda Station on 01 6666473/74, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.

Three Held In Dublin Cocaine Seizure
Three men have been arrested following the seizure of cocaine in Dublin. It is understood that 3.5kg of the drug, worth an estimated 250,000 euros, was discovered in Rathmines after being imported in cargo from Peru through Dublin Airport on Thursday. Teen Arrested Following Firearm Seizure
A 19-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí following the seizure of a firearm in Tallaght, Dublin. He was arrested on the Jobstown Road at approximately 12.40am on Tuesday morning. Gardaí were alerted after a man was seen holding a weapon. The male was chased on foot and gardaí disarmed and arrested him.

Man Arrested And Firearm Seized
A firearm has been seized and a man arrested in Crumlin, Dublin. According to gardaí, they were investigating reports of criminal damage at Rutland Grove when they witnessed a row break out between a number of men. The firearm was seized from one of the men involved in the row and he was subsequently arrested.

Appeal Launched Over Missing Dublin Man
Concern is growing over the safety of a Dublin man who has been missing since last Wednesday. Gardai at Ballyfermot Garda Station are seeking the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of 38-year-old Sean Donohoe, who is missing from his home at Sarsfield Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10 since the March 3.
