Four People Arrested In Wexford False Imprisonment Investigation
Gardai have arrested four people in connection with false imprisonment incidents in Co Wexford.
The suspects, two men aged 25 and 33 years, and two women aged 31 and 48 years, were detained in Gorey and Enniscorthy at around 8:30am yesterday, 01 March.
Investigations are continuing into false imprisonment, blackmail and criminal damage incidents that occurred in Gorey between 25 January and 03 February 2016.
The two men and one woman are currently detained at Enniscorthy and Wexford Garda stations, while the second 48-year-old female suspect was released yesterday evening without charge.

Gardaí have launched an investigation over the alleged false imprisonment and assault of two women in County Kildare last week. The incident happened at Francis Lane, Newbridge, between 9pm on Thursday 14 May and 2pm Friday 15 May. The women, aged 19 and 21, received non life-threatening injuries.

Man Critical After Shooting In South Dublin
A 33-year-old man is in a critical conditional in hospital following an incident involving the alleged false imprisonment of a woman in Dublin. According to garda, a man is believed to have dragged a woman into a car in the Ringsend area of Dublin.

Those convicted of so-called tiger kidnappings could be jailed for a minimum of 10 years under new legislation from Fianna Fáil. The plan, published by Party Whip Seán Ó Fearghaíl, would see mandatory sentences levied against criminals using the families of bank workers as hostages in crimes.

Gardaí Locate Body Of Karl O'Toole
Gardaí have located the body of 30-year-old Karl O'Toole. He has been missing from Enniscorthy, County Wexford since 23 May 2015. Garda confrimed that his body has been located. No further action is being taken.

Three men have been charged in connection with the assault and false imprisonment of a 53-year-old man in Limerick City in September 2015. The men, aged 32, 33 and 52, were arrested by garda on Wednesday in connection with the incident on 14 September last year.
