Man Dies After Being Shot In Dublin Gun Attack
A man has died after being shot during a fatal gun attack in Dublin on Monday, 29 February.
The incident happened shortly after 3pm on the McKee Road in Finglas.
It is understood the 20-year-old victim was a well-known dissident republican.
Gardaí said the man was sitting in a white Volkswagen (VW) Golf when a silver/grey VW Golf approached and fired a number of shots at him.
The vehicle then left the scene at speed towards Clune Road and Jamestown Road.
A car was later found burnt out in the Victoria Bridge area on the Naas to Rathangan Road which may have been involved in the incident.
A murder investigation is underway and Superintendent John Quirke at Finglas Garda station has issued an appeal for witnesses.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Man Dies In Overnight Road Crash
A man has died when his car collided with a van on the Rathbeale road in Swords, Dublin, around 02.30am on Wednesday morning. The man in his 40s was a passenger in the van. He died at the scene. The driver of the van and a second passenger are being treated in hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Man Seriously Injured In Dublin Shooting
A man is being treated in hospital after receiving serious injures in a shooting attack in Cabra, Dublin. The incident happened on the Killala Road at around 7.30pm on Sunday. The 54-year-old victim, who is known to gardaí, was shot a number of times when he was walking his dog. He is in a serious condition at the Mater Hospital.
