Garda Issue Appeal About BMW Car Following Fatal Shooting

Gardaí investigating a fatal shooting at a hotel in Dublin have issued an appeal for information on a car believed to be connected to the incident.

A man aged in his 50s was fatally injured when he was shot a number of times in an incident on Poplar Row, North Strand, on Monday evening.

Gardaí believe that at least four masked men were involved in the incident. It is understood they arrived at the scene in a Silver 3 Series BMW which was found abandoned on St Patricks Parade, Drumcondra a short time later. 

Investigating Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have seen the car or anyone with information to contact the incident room at Mountjoy Garda Station on 01 666 8600, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.

PSNI Investigating Fatal Collision Near Bready, Co Tyrone

At around 1.40pm on Sunday, 07 April, police responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on the Victoria Road. When police arrived it was discovered that a white Seat Leon had left the carriageway close to the junction with Grangefoyle Road.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dublin Shooting Incident
Gardaí investigating a shooting incident outside a west Dublin school have made an arrest. A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested during the course of the search operation in Corduff. He has been detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939, where he can be held for up to 72 hours.

Two Men Arrested Over Dublin Shooting Incident
Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Dublin on Tuesday night. At approximately 11.30pm Gardai received a report of a firearm been discharged at a house on Inverness Road in Fairview. On arrival it was discovered that a shot had been fired at an upstairs bedroom window.

Woman Arrested Following Shooting Incident In Limerick
A woman has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Limerick on Monday. Christy Keane was shot a number of times in the chest and arms. He is currently in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
