Two Men Arrested Over Dublin Shooting Incident

Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Dublin on Tuesday night.

At approximately 11.30pm Gardai received a report of a firearm been discharged at a house on Inverness Road in Fairview. On arrival it was discovered that a shot had been fired at an upstairs bedroom window.

It is understood there were four people in the property at the time, however there were no reports of any injuries.

In a follow up operation two males, one in his 20's and one in his 30's, were arrested in Donabate. The males have been detained under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 at Swords and Clontarf Garda Stations.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and investigations are ongoing.

Gardai at Finglas are investigating the shooting incident that occurred at a public house on Barry Road, Finglas shortly after midnight on Saturday night. A 24-year-old male received injuries when two males wearing balaclavas entered the premises and discharged a firearm.

Teen Freed In Limerick Shootings Case
A 14-year-old boy arrested in connection with a number of shooting incidents in Limerick has reportedly been released without charge. It is understood that the youth was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning and taken to Mayorstone Garda Station, but he was released that night.
