14 Arrested In Connection With St Patrick's Day 'Violent Incident'

Fourteen men have been arrested in connection with a "violent incident" in Mullingar on St Patrick's Day last year, Garda have reported.

The men, ranging in age from late teens to mid 40s, were arrested on Wednesday morning by officers investigating an incident in Dominick Street, Mullingar, on 17 March 2015.

The men are due to appear in Mullingar District Court today charged in relation to the incident.

Two Men Arrested Over Dublin Shooting Incident
Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Dublin on Tuesday night. At approximately 11.30pm Gardai received a report of a firearm been discharged at a house on Inverness Road in Fairview.
