Gardaí Renew Appeal Following Fatal Hartstown Collision

Gardaí in Blanchardstown have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a fatal road traffic accident in Hartstown, Dublin on Sunday, 03 January.

At approximately 2.40am two female pedestrians – aged in their 40s – were seriously injured when they were struck by a car on Hartstown Road. Both were taken by ambulance to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown. One of the women was later pronounced dead, the second remains in a serious condition in hospital.

The occupants of the car, three males (20s) were uninjured in the collision.

Gardaí are seeking to speak with any witnesses - pedestrian, motorists, taxi drivers or persons travelling in taxis, who were in the vicinity of the Topaz Garage/Convenience Store, Hartstown Road Clonsilla on the 03/01/2015 between 2.30am and 2.40am. 

Garda are also seeking to identify the driver of a Taxi who passed the scene at the time of the occurrence of the collision.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dublin Shooting Incident
Gardaí investigating a shooting incident outside a west Dublin school have made an arrest. A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested during the course of the search operation in Corduff. He has been detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939, where he can be held for up to 72 hours.

Appeal Issued For Man Missing Since 13 July
Gardaí have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Zilvinas Duda, who is missing from Dublin. The 31-year-old has been missing from the Ongar area of Dublin 15 since Saturday 13 July. It is understood that Mr Duda's car, a Grey Audi A3 Hatchback, was found on the Staleen Road in Donore in County Meath on the same day.

PSNI Investigating Fatal Collision Near Bready, Co Tyrone
An investigation has been launched following a fatal road traffic collision near Bready, Co Tyrone. At around 1.40pm on Sunday, 07 April, police responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on the Victoria Road. When police arrived it was discovered that a white Seat Leon had left the carriageway close to the junction with Grangefoyle Road.

Gardai in Blanchardstown have arrested thee people as part of an investigation into an incident in which a shot was fired through the window of a house in Dublin. The incident occurred at approximately 3.40am yesterday morning in Sheephill Avenue in the Corduff area of the capital.

Motorcyclist Killed In Dublin Crash
A man has died following a collision between a motorbike and a taxi in Dublin. The crash occurred on the Old Navan Road near Mulhuddart in the west of the city at around 7pm on Wednesday evening, 04 September. The 45-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown and Gardaí later confirmed he had died.
