Three Arrested Over Dublin Shooting

Gardai in Blanchardstown have arrested thee people as part of an investigation into an incident in which a shot was fired through the window of a house in Dublin.

The incident occurred at approximately 3.40am yesterday morning in Sheephill Avenue in the Corduff area of the capital.

One lone female was in the house at the time but no-one was injured.

Gardai responding to the incident stopped a car on the Blakestown Road shortly after the incident and arrested the female and two male occupants of the car.

The three people, who all 19-years-old are currently being detained in Blanchardstown Garda Station.

Gardai recovered a sawn-off shotgun in the course of a follow up search of an open area in Mulhuddart.

Gardai are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Blanchardstown Garda station on 01-6667000.

Appeal Follows Fatal Dublin Shooting

Man Arrested In Connection With Dublin Shooting Incident
Gardaí investigating a shooting incident outside a west Dublin school have made an arrest. A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested during the course of the search operation in Corduff. He has been detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939, where he can be held for up to 72 hours.

Body Found In Blanchardstown
The body of a man has been discovered in Blanchardstown, Gardaí have revealed today. Officers in the area are investigating the circumstances surrounding the find, which is of the body of a man aged 31 years at a private residence in a housing estate.

Man In Court Over Armed Incident In Lucan
