Gardaí Appeal Following Dublin Shooting Incident

Gardaí have appealed for information following a shooting incident in Tallaght, Dublin.

The incident happened in the The Grove, Kingswood Heights, in the city.

A man is understood to have approached and fired a number of shots at a car outside a property at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, 02 December. One of the occupants of the car – a man in his 20s – sustained a gunshot wound.

The suspect fled the scene on foot.

The injured man was driven from the scene to Tallaght Hospital. He is receiving treatment, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A technical and forensic examination is being carried out at the scene of the shooting.

Appeal For Information On Shooting Incident In Longford
Gardaí have issued an appeal for information following an alleged shooting incident in Longford. A number of shots were reportedly fired at a house at Anally Gardens, Longford shortly before 9pm on Thursday 13 February. According to reports, three people were in the house at the time but there were no reports of any injuries.

Appeal For Witnesses To Tallaght Shooting Incident
Gardaí in Tallaght have appealed for witnesses to a shooting incident at Parkhill West on Monday 18 January. Detectives are searching for a silver Volkswagen Passat that was involved in the incident. It is understood an unknown number of occupants travelling in the Passat fired a number of shots at a 06-D blue Mazda 3 containing two men.

Dublin 'Kneecapping' Probe Leads To Arrest
Gardaí detectives investigating a shooting incident in Coolock, Dublin on Friday have arrested one man. The incident took place at Adare Road, Coolock shortly before 1.30am when officers responded to reports of shots being fired at the scene and when they arrived they discovered a 22-year-old man with a gun shot wound to his leg.

Serious Assault In South Dublin
Two people have been arrested in South Dublin in connection with a "serious assault" on Wednesday evening. Gardai said they are investigating the circumstances of the incident, which took place at Uppercross Court, Old Blessington Road, Tallaght.
