Three Arrested Under Operation Thor
Three men have been arrested as part of Operation Thor, an ongoing crackdown on burglary.
Gardaí from Santry stopped a car on the Swords Road on Tuesday morning and uncovered a number of implements which could be used in the commission of burglaries.
The men, aged 20, 21 and 22, were detained under the provisions of Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984 and are due to appear before the Courts of Criminal Justice.
Gardaí said that Operation Thor is ongoing.

35 Arrests Made In Four-Day Operation Thor Investigation
Gardaí have made 35 arrests during a four-day operation aimed at preventing crime, disrupting criminal activity and enhancing community engagement in the Kilkenny-Carlow Division. As a result of Operation Thor – 'Project Storm' 10 people have been charged and will appear at local sittings of Carlow and Kilkenny District Court in the coming weeks.

Three men have been arrested in Co Waterford as part of Operation Thor, an ongoing national anti-crime initiative. The men were arrested on Thursday evening when garda stopped a car in Tramore. They are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Tramore and Waterford Garda Stations.
