23-Year-Old Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Alan O'Neill

A 23-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Alan O'Neill in Tallaght on 27 May this year.

The suspect is being held at Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 42 – Criminal Justice Act 1999.

Mr O'Neill was shot and killed in an incident at Kiltalown Road, Tallaght. He was treated at the scene before being taken to Tallaght Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Missing Tallaght Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A man who had been missing from the Tallaght area has been found 'safe and well', Garda have reported. 30-year-old John Rodgers was reported missing on 11 July. However, Garda said John has now been found and thanked the public for their assistance.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí following the seizure of a firearm in Tallaght, Dublin. He was arrested on the Jobstown Road at approximately 12.40am on Tuesday morning. Gardaí were alerted after a man was seen holding a weapon. The male was chased on foot and gardaí disarmed and arrested him.

Man Shot In Leg At His Dublin Home
A man was shot in the leg at his home in Dublin last night. The man, in his 30s, was shot at a number of times, at his house in Tallaght, south Dublin, according to Gardai. He was taken to Tallaght Hospital, and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The victim was shot at three times in the leg at his front door.

Man Arrested In Tallaght Murder Investigation
A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Vincent Parsons in Dublin on Saturday. The victim, aged 34, was assaulted outside a pub in Killinarden and discovered at a nearby estate with serious head injuries a short time later. He was pronounced dead at Tallaght Hospital on Monday evening.

Man And Woman Questioned Over Gangland Murder
Detectives were continuing to question a man and a woman on Thursday after further raids following Dublin's latest gangland murder. The 33-year-old man and 35-year-old woman were arrested yesterday evening over the shooting dead of Shay O'Byrne near his home last Friday night. The pair are being questioned at Terenure and Tallaght garda stations.
