Garda Appeal Over Fatal Road Traffic Accident
An investigation has been launched into a fatal road traffic accident in Clonlee, Kinnity, Co Offaly.
A man in his early 20s was fatally injured when the jeep he was driving left the road at about 02:30 on Sunday, 18 October.
The man was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
A post-mortem is due to take place at Tullamore Regional Hospital.
The road is currently closed, as Garda Forensic Collision investigators will examine the scene. Local diversions are in place.
Gardai wish to appeal for witnesses to contact them at Birr Garda Station on 057 9169710, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Man Questioned Over Fatal Road Crash In Co Mayo
Garda have detained a man in connection with a fatal road crash in Co Mayo on Sunday, 08 May. A 41-year-old motorcyclist was killed when his bike collided with a van on the N26 at Ballinahaglush at around 3.45pm. A man was arrested and is being detained at Ballina Garda Station.

After two fatal road collisions in Wicklow and Dublin, Gardaí have launched appeals seeking information in connection with the incidents. Officers at Rathfarnham Garda station want witnesses to an incident on Ballycullen Drive, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16, which occurred between 1.30am and 2.30am in the early hours of Thursday morning to contact them.

Road Death Toll Growing
Gardaí in Borris, Co Carlow are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Ballyine, Co Carlow at 12.45am this morning. A man of 68 was injured when the car in which he was the sole occupant collided with a wall. He was brought to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
