Garda Call For Witnesses To Fatal Skibereen Collision
Gardaí in Skibbereen have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic accident on the R593, Drimoleague to Skibbereen Road.
A male motorcyclist was fatally injured when his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was taken to Cork University Hospital with injuries described as not life threatening.
This stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Skibbereen Garda Station on 028 -23088, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Four Men Dead In Separate Collisions
A total of four men have died in a spate of separate car collisions over the weekend. In the most recent incident, a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck towing a trailer, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s. The collision which occurred at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon, CoLimerick at approx 1.30pm on Sunday.

Two People Killed In Co Cork Road Traffic Collision
Two people have been killed in a road traffic collision in Co Cork yesterday, 05 April. The incident happened at around 5:10pm on the N20 Cork to Limerick Road one mile outside Mallow. The occupants of one car, a male and female both in their 70's, were killed in the collision.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to an incident in which a cyclist was hit by a bus in south Dublin. According to gardaí, a 55-year-old woman was hit by a bus while cycling at about 21:40 on Burlington Road on Monday night. She is currently being treated at St Vincent's Hospital, where her condition is described as serious.

A man has been killed in a two vehicle road crash that occurred between Parkanna Cross Rd and Davis Cross on the Blarney to Bweeng Road at approximately 11.30am on Tuesday. The man in his 20's was fatally injured when his car collided with a lorry. He was the sole occupant of the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
