Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Accidents
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to two fatal road accidents in Co Limerick and Co Donegal.
On Sunday, 12 July, a 21-year-old man was killed when a car collided with a bollard in Burnfoot, Burncrana.
The 18-year-old driver and another 21-year-old passenger were injured and are being treated in hospital.
Gardai have appealed for witnesses to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 074 9320540, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
In Co Limerick, Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal collision in Newcastlewest at about 3:30am on Monday, 13 July.
It is understood that a van collided with a male pedestrian, aged in his 20s.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver of the van and a female passenger were uninjured in the collision.
Gardai wish to appeal for witnesses to contact Newcastle West Garda Station on 069 20650, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Amale pedestrian, aged in his 20s, was found with fatal injuries at the side of the Rathmolyon to Summerhill Road at approximately 8.50pm.
