Two Arrested Following Armed Robbery In Clontarf

Two men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Clontarf early on Thursday morning.

Two armed men entered a shop on Stiles Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3, at about 07:45, demanding money from a female staff member.

Garda tracked two men to a nearby building, where they recovered a firearm and a sum of money.

Both men are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939 at Clontarf Garda Station.

Two Men Arrested Over Dublin Shooting Incident
Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Dublin on Tuesday night. At approximately 11.30pm Gardai received a report of a firearm been discharged at a house on Inverness Road in Fairview. On arrival it was discovered that a shot had been fired at an upstairs bedroom window.

Four Arrested In Money Laundering Investigation
Gardaí in Cork have arrested four people in an investigation into money laundering. Two men, aged 19 and 29, and two women, aged 28 and 50, were arrested during a search of houses in the Fairhill and Knocknaheeny areas. Gardaí say they are being interviewed as part of an ongoing investigation into money laundering in Cork.

Two Men Arrested Following Armed Robbery In Dublin
Gardai have arrested two men in connection with an armed robbery at a petrol station in Dublin on Tuesday evening. The robbery occurred on the Stillorgan Road in Blackrock at around 6.30pm. The men, armed with a gun and a hammer, threatened staff and demanded money. They fled the scene with a sum of cash.

Two Arrested Over Aggravated Burglary
Two men have been arrested over an aggravated burglary in Dublin. The incident happened at a property in Casana View, Howth, on 13 December 2013. On that morning, four men, one of whom was armed with a nail bar, entered the house where a woman in her 40s and her eight-year-old daughter were inside.
