Men Charged Over Cannabis Grow House

Two men have appeared in court in connection with the discovery of a cannabis grow house in New Inn, Co Tipperary.

Gardaí uncovered cannabis plants worth an estimated €700,000 at premises in Boytonrath, Boreen, in Kileenasteena on Friday 01 May.

Three men, arrested at the scene, appeared before a special sitting of Nenagh District Court at 22:00 on Sunday.

Garda said that the investigation is ongoing.

Cannabis Found In Wooded Area In Co Cavan
Cannabis worth an estimated €100,000 has been uncovered in a wooded area in Co Cavan. Gardaí confirmed they made the discovery on Tuesday at Drumgill. No one has been arrested in connection with the find, gardaí have said, adding that the investigation is ongoing.

Cannabis Seized During Raid In Wexford
Gardai have seized herbal cannabis following a raid on a house in Wexford. It is estimated to have a street value of €45,000. A number of plants were found during the search of a property in Lee Heights on Thursday. No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.
