Teen Rescued From Island By Galway RNLI
Galway RNLI have rescued a 19-year-old man from an island off Silver Strand.
The teenager had become stranded in an area called Grey Rock by the rising tide at about 19:45 on Wednesday.
A kayaker who spotted the teenager and raised the alarm.
Assisted by members of the Irish Coast Guard, Galway RNLI volunteers launched their inshore lifeboat from Galway Docks at 8.01pm and arrived at the area within nine minutes.
The Coast Guard vessel took the young man and a Garda onboard and transferred them both onto the RNLI lifeboat which ferried them to Galway Docks.
The teenager was taken to University Hospital Galway for observation.

Missing Teenager Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing teenager Klaudia Sadowska has been found 'safe and well', gardaí have reported. An appeal for information was issued for the 15-year-old who had been missing from her home in Lissadyra, Tuam, in Galway since Friday, 06 May. Garda thanked the public for their help and said that no further action was needed.

Three Fishermen Rescued In Co Cork
Three fishermen have been rescued from a sinking trawler in Co Cork. The men were recovered from the water at Kinsale Harbour after their vessel began sinking at around 6pm on Sunday. The Kinsale RNLI lifeboat attended the scene and rescued the Portuguese fishermen. The crew were left shaken, however no injuries were reported.

Missing Galway Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Gardaí in Galway have reported that John Moyles has been found "safe and well". The 23-year-old, from the Rahoon area of Galway, was reported missing on Sunday. It is understood that he was found in the Dublin area. Garda have thanked the public for their help.
